Science House: Clubs & Classes

Science House in Limassol runs weekly clubs and classes for children from toddlers to age 13: Young Doctor, the first medical club for children in Cyprus; Young Vet, the first veterinary club for children in Cyprus; Russian language classes; and a Mother & baby class.

Young Doctor (Fridays) lets children step into the shoes of a real doctor: making diagnoses, applying casts, placing fillings and taking part in simulated clinical scenarios. They explore how the human body works and learn the foundations of a healthy lifestyle. Classrooms have real lab and medical tools, anatomical models and equipment used by medical students. Sessions are led by experienced educators and practising healthcare professionals, and the course includes visits to real medical facilities.

Young Vet (Saturdays) introduces animal anatomy and behaviour, basic exams, identifying different types of animals and how to care for pets properly. Real animals are present in class. Sessions are led by educators and practising veterinarians, with professional tools and anatomical models, and the course includes visits to veterinary clinics, zoos and grooming salons.

Both clubs run as a 9-month course with one 1-hour session a week, in small groups of 8–10 children.

Russian language (Saturdays) covers the alphabet, reading, writing, speaking, punctuation and basic knowledge, with games built on associations. There is a group for beginners and ages 5–7, and a group for ages 7–9.

Mother & baby (Fridays, 10:00–11:30) is for little ones aged about 1½ to 3½ with a parent: motor skills, sensory games, music and cooperation.

Fees are the same for every class: a trial class costs €25 and the monthly pass is €100 for 4 classes.
