Trinity Yacht Camp

Children learn to handle a yacht, understand wind dynamics, and apply physics and meteorology in real conditions.
The programme is delivered in partnership with Crest Watersports and led by professional instructors.
Activities may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.

What your child will experience:

• Practice on the water
• Daily sea sessions (St Raphael Marina)
• Sail handling
• Working with wind and yacht balance
• Kayaking training

Science in action:

• Experiments and modelling
• Understanding: Wind force, Buoyancy, Laws of motion
• How a yacht and the sea work together

Sailing skills:

• Basics of navigation
• Decision-making in real situations
• Developing responsibility

Teamwork:

• Working as a crew
• Coordination and focus
• Support and collaboration

Learning through environment:

• Real practice at St Raphael Marina
• Interaction with natural elements
• Building confidence and independence
• Experience of a working marine setting

Final project:

• Closing regatta
• Demonstration of: Yacht handling, Orientation, Teamwork
• Each participant receives a certificate
